The Story

Fuel Finance is a hybrid service product from an American company with Ukrainian roots. They provide an all-in-one FP&A solution that combines technology with human touch to help startups and small businesses better manage their finances©.

Fuel Finance approached us before they started raising seed round in 2021 with a request to create an unparalleled brand for their rapidly growing product. A few months later, the startup raised $1M from a number of private investors, and a year later reached a $1M ARR, still growing today.

The company is run by a young entrepreneur and financier Alyona Mysko, honored with Forbes 30 under 30 award.

The Challenge
Stand out among competitors while remaining within the accepted images for the financial industry.

Solution
Saturated colors heavily used in graphics and infographic elements, deep black backgrounds and toxic green have become a recognizable image of Fuel.

Cultural impact
The flexible design system created the basis for countless variations in the language of communication. The graffiti-style execution of the company's logo became a sought-after merchandise item, and the bold style became Fuel's signature element, reflecting their punk soul.
